From Tod Maffin’s blog comes the announcement of tomorrow’s Third Tuesday line up in Vancouver tomorrow:

Joseph Thornley is CEO of Thornley Fallis, which helps companies and organizations build relationships with customers, clients and stakeholders by integrating social media with public relations, creative design and word of mouth communications.

David Jones, an early-adopter of using social media for PR purposes, authors an influential Canadian PR blog (prworks.ca) and co-hosts the weekly Inside PR podcast and is a frequent speaker at communications conferences on how to use social media as an effective PR tool. Very much related to this is that is has just been announced that David Jones has joined Hill & Knowlton as VP of Digital Communications (Hat tip to David Forde).  Hill & Knowlton seems to be really getting into social media and Web 2.0.  Big change from when I worked with them running e-biz for Glaxo Canada.

Regardless, if you can get to Vangroovy tomorrow night (man … could I … couldn’t I) it will be a great time I’m sure.
