An East-coast event no longer Vancouver now has Third Tuesday Vancouver and coming up on the 25th of September (which is the fourth Tuesday) is none other than the CBC’s Tod Maffin! Joe Thornley gives the low-down on his blog, and like Joe I’ve heard Tod speak and if you can make it over to Vangroovy for it, do!
I, sadly, can’t so I’ll just have to work on getting Third Tuesday Victoria going! What are Third Tuesday meetups? Here is the blurb from the Vancouver site:

I’d love to do an event like this in Vancouver, Tris. It’s a city I’ve hoping to visit and I hear so many good things are happening in social media there. I am booked for all travel-related events until year end, so I’ll miss your opener, but would be happy to come up after the first of the year, despite the dread word:”Winter.”
Gotta go pick the mop.
